More About Us

For the longest time…

…I refused to do weddings. Why? is a multifaceted answer. I was working off the farm for the first five years of my business & didn’t have the time to commit, I was very focused on building the farm, focusing on growing to the best of my abilities, and maintaining quality not just increasing quantity. I had other avenues for my flowers that were consuming my efforts & I was also worried that I wouldn’t find the ‘right’ couples, the ones who value local flowers, care about where their flowers are coming from, and also were into our vibe and aesthetic. Or that they wouldn’t understand how different it is to work directly with a grower who is also a designer. What I found is that not only are these couples out there, they are struggling to find what they’re looking for in our area.

The more my flower fields evolved the more my floral designs evolved and the more I was approached to do weddings. My answer continued to be: no (though truth be told, I was secretly taking them on here and there). Then in the middle of my 5th season I left my full time off-farm job and committed to the farm full time. By the end of my 6th growing season, I had a change of heart. I was doing more and more design work and I was falling more in love with it. It was time to say YES to more weddings!

I am so glad you are here. I look forward to learning more about you and your floral dreams for your big day!

Who is our ideal customer?

  • Someone who wants something different, something stunningly beautiful, seasonal, and one - of - a - kind.

  • If you’ve uttered ‘garden-vibes, wildflower, dreamy, natural, or whimsical’ in relation to your wedding floral dreams, we might be a match!

  • Someone who cares about the environmental aspect of what our farm offers: local, sustainably grown flowers that aren’t traveling hundreds or thousands of miles in dry boxes, or out of season. Undyed and unbleached. Not drenched in toxic chemicals like every flower coming from overseas.

  • Someone who is a bit on the carefree side.

    • What do we mean by carefree? We grow our own flowers, bringing in other farm’s flowers only when we have to. This means that we do not have every single stem you might see on Pinterest. It also means that since we grow seasonally, we design seasonally. We design with what is fresh and ready in our fields for YOUR exact day.

    • Carefree means having an in-depth discussion of your vision and color palette and trusting that your expectations will be exceed by our seasonal flowers, creativity, and attention to detail.
